Our Story
Williams Sporthorses was started in late 2022 by Elizabeth Grace Cohen. While Elizabeth attended university in England for Bio-veterinary Science, she continued to ride competitively. Upon returning home, she opened a barn where horses well-being and development are the priority. Her passion really lies in watching the horses develop and grow into their careers and partnerships. Elizabeth also enjoys training and helping establish the relationship between rider and horse. Elizabeth has ridden all over America, Canada, and Europe. She is most proud of her placings at Angle Stone, WEF, and Hickstead. She is very grateful to have trained under many top professionals.
In our first years of business, we have worked diligently at improving our facility and putting our team together. We have been blessed with sales and clients along the way. Over the next few years, we will focus on developing our brand and growing into a barn that is associated with reliable, safe, and completive horses.
The Facility
Nestled in the peaceful South End of Wellington and located less than a 10-minute drive or 30-minute hack from WEF's front entrance, our farm borders miles of trails. Our facility currently offers ample lush turnout, 51 12x12 stalls, Amberway comfort mats, a 120ft x 124ft Discount Dirtworks ring complete with underground drainage, an additional oversized all weather arena, grass Grand Prix derby field, gallop track, 5 barns, reverse osmosis water to the entire property, matted or rubber paver isle ways, separate groom boxes and wash stalls, automatic waters or in-stall water hook ups, a dedicated lunging area, a 2024 covered 6 horse MK walker, and 6 horse walker boy walker on a manicured 15-acre farm.
